Self Capture Challenge
A 30-day self-capturing + content creation practice for women who are ready to feel more natural, expressive, and alive on camera.
You already have something to say.
You already have a point of view.
You already have a life, a voice, a body of work, a business, a way of seeing the world.
But somewhere between experiencing your life and turning the camera on, something changes.
You tighten.
You start thinking about how you look.
You try to sound smart.
You wonder if anyone will care.
You overthink the hook.
You watch yourself back and suddenly everything feels wrong.
And instead of letting yourself be witnessed, you start performing.
This month is about changing that relationship.
Not by becoming louder.
Not by learning how to “hack” social media.
Not by forcing yourself to post every day.
But by practicing how to capture yourself, express yourself, and let yourself be seen without abandoning yourself in the process.
The camera is not the problem.
The camera simply reveals what happens inside us when we know we might be witnessed.
Do we shrink?
Do we puff ourselves up?
Do we stop breathing?
Do we disconnect from our bodies?
Do we try to become someone more impressive, more beautiful, more articulate, more palatable?
The camera is one of the most honest mirrors we have.
And for 30 days, we’re going to work with it.
Not against it.
This is a practice in self-capturing.
In noticing your life while you’re living it.
Turning the camera toward yourself when you feel beautiful.
Talking when something is actually alive in you.
Capturing the strange, ordinary, funny, intimate, meaningful pieces of your world.
Experimenting with photos, video, talking to camera, voiceovers, storytelling, movement, writing and whatever forms of expression feel like yours.
You don’t need to know your “content pillars.”
You don’t need to turn every moment into content.
You don’t need to create something polished every day.
We’re practicing something much simpler:
Notice what is alive. Capture it. Express it. Let it be witnessed.
Who is this for?
Who is this for?
This is for the woman who knows she has more to share online than she’s currently allowing herself to.
Maybe you run a business and social media constantly feels heavier than it should.
Maybe you have a million ideas but freeze when it’s time to actually make something.
Maybe you’re comfortable speaking in real life but feel like a completely different person when the camera turns on.
Maybe your camera roll is full of things you never post.
Maybe you constantly compare your content to women who seem effortless online.
Maybe you know your work is powerful, but the digital version of you still feels smaller than the woman you actually are.
You don’t need more pressure.
You need practice.
For 30 days, we’re practicing a different way of creating.
Week 1 — SELF CAPTURE
Learning to turn the lens toward yourself.
We’ll practice capturing rather than staging.
Noticing beauty.
Romanticizing yourself before asking the world to.
Seeing your image with curiosity instead of immediately picking it apart.
Learning to let the camera be present in your life without requiring you to perform for it.
Week 2 — EXPRESSION
Discovering how you naturally communicate.
How do you speak?
What feels good to make?
Talking videos? Storytelling? Writing? Beautiful visuals? Voiceovers? Humor? Teaching? Movement?
We experiment.
We stop trying to sound like the internet and start listening for our own language.
Week 3 — WITNESSED
Letting it leave the camera roll.
This is where we meet the deeper edges.
Perfectionism.
Approval.
Control.
Fear of judgment.
Fear of being misunderstood.
Fear of taking up too much space.
We practice staying connected to ourselves while other people see us.
Week 4 — YOUR DIGITAL WORLD
Creating a relationship with social media you actually want to continue.
By now, you’ll know more about what you enjoy making.
What feels like you.
What kind of content drains you.
What kind makes you feel alive.
What your relationship with the camera needs.
What rhythm you actually want.
The goal isn’t to leave with another formula.
It’s to leave with a way of creating that feels like yours..
What this is not
This is not a “30 days, 30 reels” challenge.
It’s not a content bootcamp.
It’s not about posting for the sake of posting.
It’s not about turning every intimate moment of your life into something consumable.
And it is absolutely not about manufacturing a more marketable version of yourself.
We’re practicing the opposite.
Performance says: let me create a version of myself worth seeing.
Presence says: let me notice what is already here.
What we’ll actually do
Over the month, you’ll be invited to experiment with:
Self portraits.
Little videos of your day.
Talking to camera.
Voice notes that become content.
Stories.
B-roll.
Writing.
Movement.
Images that make you feel something.
Speaking before you’ve perfected the sentence.
Watching yourself back without tearing yourself apart.
Sharing things before they feel completely finished.
Letting your personality show.
Letting your beauty show.
Letting your depth show.
And noticing what your body does through all of it.
Because content creation is never just content creation.
It touches our relationship with visibility, beauty, belonging, rejection, confidence, perfectionism, expression and being perceived.
That’s why we’re doing this together.
You do not have to become someone else to become visible.
The courage to be witnessed begins with the courage to believe that what is already here is beautiful.
You don’t need to become more polished.
More charismatic.
More confident.
More extroverted.
More aesthetically perfect.
More “on brand.”
You need to become more available to what is already here.
Your beauty.
Your weirdness.
Your humor.
Your depth.
Your opinions.
Your softness.
Your contradictions.
Your actual life.
Our three agreements
We create from something real rather than constantly asking what we should post.
Follow what is alive.
We hear ourselves before trying to impress an audience.
Create before you perform.
We allow some of what lives inside us to actually cross the threshold into the world.
Let yourself be witnessed.
And we’re doing it together.
This isn’t a month where I hand you a giant course library and disappear.
We’ll gather.
We’ll create.
We’ll talk about what’s coming up.
We’ll witness one another.
We’ll celebrate the thing you almost didn’t post.
We’ll laugh about the 37 takes.
We’ll notice when you disappear into performance and help you come back.
And I’ll be practicing alongside you.
Because I don’t want to create a space where I’m responsible for manufacturing everyone’s inspiration.
I want to create a room where our aliveness activates one another.
After 30 days…
I don’t want you to leave thinking:
“Great. Now I know how to make better Reels.”
I want you to notice that turning the camera on doesn’t feel quite so loaded anymore.
That you know how to come back into your body.
That you understand your own creative language a little more.
That you’ve made things you genuinely like.
That you’ve allowed more of yourself to exist online.
That the gap between who you are in real life and who you let yourself be on the internet has gotten smaller.
And that creating content feels less like something you have to force—
and more like another way you get to experience and express your life.
Something is already alive within you.
Let’s turn the camera toward it.
TURN THE CAMERA
TOWARD YOURSELF.
A 30-day self-capture + content creation practice for women ready to feel more natural, expressive, and alive on camera. Together, we’ll turn the lens toward ourselves, explore our own creative language, create from what’s actually alive, and practice letting ourselves be witnessed online without slipping into performance.
